Catholic Artist Connection
Chicago Chapter

Welcome to CAC Chicago!

If you’re in the Chicago area and looking for Catholic and artistic community, look no further.

Catholic Artist Connection offers Chicago artists support spiritually, socially, and professionally. By working artists, for working artists, we want to help build bridges between artists in different neighborhoods and disciplines.

We currently have a writers’ group going at the Athenaeum Center and are building partnerships and networks with local parishes. If you’d like to host a social or an open mic night at your local parish or favorite coffee shop, we want to help you make it happen!

Drop us a line below and let us know what you’re up to, what your dreams are, and what events or programming, or community you’d like to see!

- Renée & Claire

We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community.

It all happened while we sat there talking, and it is still going on.

Catholic Artist Connection & Pietre Vive Social and Church Tour at St. Mary’s of the Lake, August 2022

We were just sitting there talking when Peter Maurin came in...
It was as casual as all that, I often think. It just came about. It just happened.
— Dorothy Day, "The Long Loneliness"
